College Farm® Organic candies are produced at our original confectionery plant located in 
    Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, where we also create our Simon's line of premium hard candies.

    Prior to an organic production run, every piece of equipment, utensil, storage container, etc.
    must be cleaned and inspected.  Only organic ingredients can be on the production floor during
    processing.  All organic ingredients must have documentation showing the certifiers of all 
    organic ingredients and listing any processing aids used.  Standard operating procedures that
    outline the practices and procedures to be performed are maintained.  Audit trails must exist that
    allow each ingredient employed in every product produced to be traced back through each
    transformation to its source.

    As you can see, producing organic candies is a lot more involved than making regular candy.
